We are located in the small township from Dunkeld at the Southern end of the Grampians. We are 750m from the main street, which means it is very peaceful (away from the highway noise) but walking distance to the eateries.

You may cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival. You will be charged 50% of your total fee if you cancel in the 14 days before arrival. 

You will be sent a text message on the morning of your arrival with the check-in details.  This will also provide you with our caretakers mobile number who is always happy to assist you during your stay.

Our cottages are like a ‘home away from home’. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, stove top, microwave and a full size fridge.  You will find all the necessary items such as saucepans, fry pans, salad bowels etc. to cook with and the basics like salt, pepper, olive oil, tea, coffee and a small amount of long life milk. Outside every cottage has its own Weber Q gas bbq.

No. We supply towels (extras under your bathroom sink) and quality cotton linen. All donna covers are washed after every guest. The luxury spa cottages also have bathrobes.

During April to September a box of wood is supplied to your cottage daily. At other times we will happily supply it during cold weather. Please be considerate to the environment by only using what you need to keep warm. The amount supplied is enough to keep you toasty warm even during very cold weather (secret – turning your fire to low once it is going will make all the difference). If you are having trouble lighting your fire please speak to our caretaker.

Yes, all cottages either have a reverse cycle heating/cooling unit or an electric wall heater. All beds except the bunks have an electric blanket.

Due to the cottages being built of logs they are very well insulted.  Each cottage has a reverse cycle cooling unit and fans in the bedrooms.  

There is a full time caretaker that is always willing help between 9am and 6pm and after hours for emergencies.  They will also happily share information on local hikes and things to do.
